Common Questions About the Program
Do I need prior finance experience?
Not necessarily. We start with fundamentals, but you should be comfortable with basic math and have genuine interest in learning how businesses operate financially. Some participants come from accounting backgrounds, others from completely different fields.
When does the next program start?
Our next comprehensive cohort begins in September 2025. We also have rolling enrollment for the self-paced track, which you can start as early as August 2025 after completing the prerequisite assessment.
What software or tools will I need?
You'll need a reliable computer and internet connection. We provide access to financial databases and analysis software as part of the program. Excel skills are helpful but we cover the essential functions you'll need.
How many hours per week should I expect?
This varies by track. Intensive weekend participants typically spend 6-8 hours on Saturdays, plus 2-3 hours of weekday prep. Evening track participants usually commit 2-3 hours, three nights per week. Self-paced learners set their own schedule but most successful participants dedicate 5-7 hours weekly.
Can I switch tracks if my schedule changes?
Yes, within the first month. We understand life happens. You might need to wait for the next appropriate entry point in your new chosen track, but we'll work with you to make transitions as smooth as possible.
What kind of mentorship is included?
All participants get access to monthly group Q&A sessions. Self-paced learners also get individual 30-minute check-ins every two weeks. Intensive track participants have more immediate access to instructors during workshop sessions.
How do you handle different experience levels in group settings?
We use peer learning approaches where more experienced participants often help newer ones, which reinforces learning for everyone. Plus, you'd be surprised how much insight people bring from their own professional backgrounds, even if they're new to financial analysis.
